Santa Clara Swim Club - Communications

Communication within SCSC is crucial. The Club has created communication channels to help you stay up to date on important information valuable to you and your swimmer.

Here are some ways in which information gets to you:

Board members serve 2 year terms; with four members elected each year. Elections take place in the autumn. For more information about the Board, fell free to contact any board member or email the entire board at: board@santaclaraswimclub.org.

Mailbox - each family with a USS swimmer has a mailbox to receive information. This is the best source of information and should be checked regularly.

Monthly Newsletter - contains articles from the coaches that give the club direction for the upcoming weeks and often recognize individuals for their accomplishments. It is a good information resource on club activities and events.

Bulletin Board - located in the pool team room door and should be checked regularly. Announcements and club information are also in a kiosk outside the team store.

General meetings - these meeting are held periodically throughout the swimming year. Notification in advance of these meetings is posted on the club's bulletin board and mailed to current members.

Direct mail - may be used in the event of the need to contact all club members about a special event.
