2008 41st Toyota Santa Clara International Invitational Grand Prix
Thursday, May 15—Sunday, May 18, 2008

Swimmers from Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, and Korea are slated to be entered in this summer's event, along with many of the best in the United States such as 2004 Olympians Michael Phelps, Natalie Coughlin, Aaron Piersol, Ian Crocker and Brendan Hansen.

The 41st annual Santa Clara Swim Club International Meet on May 15-18, 2008 at the George F. Haines International Swim Center will again be one of the premier swim meets of the summer worldwide.

You may also email the Sponsorship Coordinator for questions and assistance at sponsorshipcoordinator@santaclaraswimclub.org.

The deadline to submit all ads, donations and sponsorships is March 17, 2008.

SCSC House Accounts are pursued and maintained by the Sponsorship Coordinator and are not to be solicited by any family.

The list of advertisers is be pursued by families who secured them until February 17, 2008, and are available for open solicitation from February 18- March 17, 2008.

Message to our Membership,

Please remember that the advertising, donations and sponsorships you bring in support our Club and create a wonderful community where we all share and benefit from the accomplishments of our swimmers and meets we host. This happens through your efforts as a member of Santa Clara Swim Club. So let us share what Santa Clara Swim Club is about with those in our surrounding community and get their support. I understand it can be a difficult thing to ask for this kind of support. However, most companies can be a willing and a very generous donor. World Record at the Santa Clara International Invitational

The 36th Santa Clara International Invitational swim meet saw it's first world record in 32 years when Michael Phelps of North Baltimore Aquatic Club turned in an awesome performance on Sunday afternoon, in the Men's 200 IM. His time of 1:57.94, bettered the nine year old mark of 1:58.16, set by Finland's Jani Sievinen, at the 1994 World Championships in Rome.
