SCSC Senior Announces His Decision

Senior and National Group swimmer, Ryan Hinshaw has signed a letter-of-intent to swim next year at the Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. This is the same school that was home to Mark Spitz in the early 1970’s and IU continues today to be a force within the Big Ten conference. Last summer Ryan achieved his first Junior National times in the 400, 800, and 1500 Free and went on to compete at the USA Swimming Junior Championships in Indianapolis last summer and competed this past month at the USA Swimming Short Course Nationals in Atlanta, Georgia. Head Coach Ray Looze of Indiana University is looking forward to adding Ryan to their distance group next year. As a staff at SCSC we are also excited for Ryan as we see this as an excellent fit for him and for his continued success and development in the sport in the years to come. Congratulations!
