Congratulations to our own Erik Colwill who was named Pacific Swimming Age Group Coach of the Year for 2007. Erik will be honored at this year’s Pacific Swimming Awards Banquet, Saturday, January 5 in Napa, California.

Erik was chosen by his coaching peers within Pacific Swimming for his excellent work during the past year. Among those swimmers that achieved Top 16 times (individual or repay) this past year while under Erik’s tutelage were Ian Burns, Keltan Lawler, Dorothy Ren, Helen Tang, Sammi Chan, Julie Nguyen, Jeffrey Chen, Oskar Lu, and Andrew Bryce. This is the first SCSC coach in the past 13 years to be awarded this honor and as a staff, we are all extremely proud of Erik for this accomplishment. His honor is a positive reflection upon the entire program and the hard work everyone has been and continues to do each and every day.

Congratulations again to Erik and for his continued fine work with all of our age groupers, as they continue their climb through the program.
